I came to ATCOT to break free from addiction, get to know myself better, and understand where I went wrong. I also came searching for answers from God and His intentions for my life. I hope to gain a better understanding of who Jesus Christ is beyond what I was taught from birth. I want to build a whole new relationship with Jesus because I have finally found Him, and there is no turning back. I want to know Him more and more.

I came to Adult & Teen Challenge to find true peace and serenity in Christ. I hope to gain wisdom and learn how to integrate Christ in my daily life, and to surrender my will and life to God!

I came to ATCOT to develop a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. I desire to live a purified life guided by the Spirit of truth.

I came to ATCOT because I knew God wasn’t finished with what He started in me. I came with the expectation of getting sober and staying sober, but I now realize it is much bigger than that. I believe I will leave here with a stronger relationship with the Lord, and that He will restore everything I once thought was ruined. He has already restored my marriage and has even used me to help guide my wife closer to Him.

I came to know Christ, but at some point in my walk I became complacent. That led to distraction and eventually I became a drug addict. I came here to be restored. By God’s grace, this place has been a blessing. We are being restored through His love and His people and seeing Him work in others shows me that God is our solution. He is teaching me that His love is real.

I came to ATCOT because every success I ever achieved eventually became a failure. I lost my house, my cars, and my relationships. I never had faith in God, and I realized that living without Him is what led me here. I came to learn how to be a good Christian and trust the Lord to provide for me. I hope to gain a strong relationship with Jesus and eventually find the true happiness I've always been looking for.

I came to ATCOT to change my life. I want to become a stronger leader for my family, gain peace of mind, and grow closer to the Word of Jesus.

I came to ATCOT after becoming self destructive during my time in college. Although I had focused on my education and earned my bachelor’s degree, sin took over my life and led me down the wrong path. I am here to grow closer to God and be restored. I am hoping to become equipped for a future in full time ministry.

I came to ATCOT to change the way I think. I used to live with a mindset of stubbornness and hate. Since being at ATCOT, God has been changing the way I think and how I treat others, as well as how I view myself. The verse I stand on is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
