I came to ATCOT after struggling with addiction since I was 16. I spent years stealing and hurting the people I loved most just to get my next fix. But God chose me out of the 99 and loved me when I could not love myself. Through His love, my life has changed, and I am slowly being restored. I hope to grow closer to God and become more like Him. I am grateful to be seven months clean and to have the support of my family and ATCOT family. All Glory to God!

I came to ATCOT to break the chains of drug abuse and to develop a closer relationship with God. I hope to be reunited with my children, return to my career as an HVAC technician, and provide a loving home for my kids under God’s grace.

The Lord has been kind and gracious to me throughout my life. He showed me His love through my mom, aunt, grandma, and sisters, and even brought my dad back into my life after my mom’s passing. I came here to grow closer to God, learn obedience, and love Him and others more deeply. I’m still learning to walk faithfully each day, and He has delivered me from a destructive path where I was hurting both myself and others.

I came to Teen Challenge because of a promise I made to my late wife two days before she passed away. I wanted to find my way back to God, and I knew I needed a complete life change. Even after I received my first parole and was released, I was a broken man and needed help. I wanted to change every aspect of my thinking and the life decisions I was making. Teen Challenge is, has been, and will continue to give me that chance.

I came to ATCOT because my life has never truly been mine. I’ve always been a slave to sin, but now I want to be a servant of Christ and help build His Kingdom rather than live for the enemy. I want my story to be a light for others and share the love of the Lord with those around me. I hope to gain greater knowledge and wisdom of God’s Word, including its historical and traditional context, so I can understand it more deeply and get the most out of it.
