ATCOT San Antonio men march in annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade
ATCOT San Antonio men’s campus director Floyd Miles, III was recently invited to participate in one of the largest Martin Luther King, Jr. marches in the nation. Rev. Miles, along with several ATCOT students and staff, marched in San Antonio’s annual Martin Luther King, Jr. parade, held on Monday, January 18 in San Antonio. The parade drew more than 200,000 adults and children.
The mission of the San Antonio Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade is to promote human equality, the principles of nonviolence, and the understanding and acceptance of racial harmony, understanding, respect, and goodwill among citizens, all as a way of building community among all citizens of San Antonio and across the world.
“While there, we had the opportunity to hand out tracts and information about ATCOT,” said Rev. Miles.
