Thank You for Supporting the 5K Freedom Run

Adult & Teen Challenge of Texas hosted its 2nd annual 5K Freedom Run/Walk at OP Schnabel Park at the Graff Pavilion located in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday, November 15, 2014.  It was a beautiful day with 242 participants running and walking in the 5K race including several staff and students from the San Antonio campus.

“This was my first race. I’m very happy it was for a good cause,” said Noah Benson, 1st place Winner.

“I absolutely loved the location! There were birds, deer and lots of trees. It was beautiful. It was also moving to see so many people there to support our cause,” said Holly Carey, ATCOT student.

Thank you to all of our volunteers, sponsors, and runners from this year’s 5K for supporting Adult & Teen Challenge of Texas. We especially would like to thank our volunteers at the Joint Personal Property Shipping Office and our top two sponsors: Diamond Trucking Company, and Texas Electronic Security Systems, Inc. We also would like to thank Starbucks for providing coffee. We appreciate all of our friends and partners for supporting Adult & Teen Challenge of Texas. We hope that you will participate again next year for the 3rd annual 5K Freedom Run.
