CAMPUS DESCRIPTION:

The San Antonio men’s program is a faith-based adult addiction recovery program.  Our mission is to provide a comprehensive Christian faith-based solution to life-controlling drug and alcohol additions.

While in the program, residents receive:

  • Housing
  • Meals
  • Transportation
  • Individual mentoring
  • Counseling in a group setting through a 13 week long intensive course called The Ultimate Journey
  • Bible based educational curriculum

Residents participate in a work-study program, receiving vocational training in several areas:

  • Texas Food Manager Certification
  • Driver Safety Training
  • Wood-working and welding skills
  • Access to GED courses and testing center
  • Auto Mechanic Training
  • Courses in Finance and Budgeting (Financial Peace)

FACTS:

  • Established 1968 (first Teen Challenge of Texas campus to open)
  • 108 acres on the south side of San Antonio

Our stores exist so that Adult & Teen Challenge can continue to offer low-cost, Christian recovery services to people struggling with addictions.  The safe, supervised, drug-free environment at each location provides a great ‘classroom’ to teach retail principles, as well as opportunities for our students to share their testimonies about God’s grace to the community.  All proceeds benefit Adult & Teen Challenge of Texas.  Support Adult & Teen Challenge, where lives are changed.

About Us

Teen Challenge is the faith-based SOLUTION for the drug epidemic. The scope of Teen Challenge has grown over the years, and now serves adults as well as teenagers. There are over 200 Teen Challenge campuses in the United States, and over 1000 centers world wide in over 80 countries, which provide Christian recovery services to individuals of every age and social background. Typically, these services are long-term residential recovery centers which provide a life-encompassing environment through which the participant is able to change their lifestyle and develop a plan for a future free from addiction.
