Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent 5K.  Adult & Teen Challenge of Texas held its 3rd annual 5K Freedom Run/Walk at OP Schnabel Park at the Graff Pavilion located in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday, January 16. It was a beautiful, cool, crisp day with 278 participants running and walking in the 5K race.

The diverse group of runners and walkers included moms and dads with strollers, children and teenagers, retired senior citizens, military personnel, athletes and non-athletes, business men and women, ATCOT students and staff, and entire families.  It was a fun day beginning with some lively and energetic praise music being played by the ATCOT Brother’s Band during the registration.  The runners and walkers did a pre-stretch with a representative from  the synergy Studio leading the stretch.  Numerous vendors came and set up booths to visit before and after the race. After the race, an award ceremony was held for the winners.
